Today marks the second anniversary of the passing of Steve Jobs. The world will forever remember his hard work and dedication to empowering and enriching the lives of millions.
Steve was the one who brought Apple out of bankruptcy; more importantly, the products as a result have had an impact on the world. Without him, there would be no Mac, iPod, iPhone, iPad, Apple Store, Pixar, and most importantly, Apple.
Steve, you have provided us tools otherwise unimaginable. Every move of yours quaked the world, and so did your passing. But your spirit lives on; and so does Apple.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
Thank you Steve.

Apple today sent out invites to the media to join them for the September 10 iPhone Event at their Cupertino headquarters. The invite, as shown above, depicts multi-colored bubbles floating around an Apple logo and text that reads, “This should brighten everyone’s day.”
The iPhone 5C and 5S are expected to be announced, as well as the release date of iOS 7.
Here is a link to some great wallpapers to get you in the mood for the event.
Update: Last night, Apple also sent out invites to the Chinese press for a special iPhone event in Beijing,China. It will be hosted on September 11 at 10 AM, Beijing time.
If the interface for iOS in the Car were simply a conceptual mockup, it wouldn’t make much sense to have developed a functional user interface screen that isn’t even visible in the demonstration. Apple simply had more available to show than it intended to.
Awesome. Can’t wait!
